CCAM recently participated in the Virginia State University (VSU) Career Fair & Expo, engaging with students interested in engineering, advanced manufacturing, technology, and research-driven careers. Throughout the event, CCAM staff connected with students to discuss internship opportunities, career pathways, and the organization’s role in advancing manufacturing innovation through collaborative research and industry partnerships.
The career fair provided a valuable opportunity to introduce students to the wide range of experiences available within Virginia’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem, from hands-on technical work and data analytics to cutting-edge research and workforce development initiatives. “It was great getting to talk to students about their passions and intrest with in the field” said a CCAM representative. CCAM enjoyed meeting talented students from diverse academic backgrounds and sharing how the organization supports the development of the next generation of manufacturing leaders. The event reinforced the importance of building strong connections between education and industry to help prepare students for successful careers in Virginia’s growing manufacturing sector.
