CCAM is a not-for-profit, membership-based scientific, research and educational corporation that has been determined to be exempt from federal taxation under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Its organization allows multiple universities and multiple companies to collaborate in a research consortium focused on adaptive automation, surface engineering, additive manufacturing, and machining science and technology.

CCAM provides a step change in the productivity of parts and components for members.

Members and CCAM’s university partners govern CCAM’s operations through board participation, which is determined by membership level.
