CCAM Intern Program Welcome
Welcome to the CCAM Intern Program. As an intern, you have a unique opportunity to get hands on work experience in your chosen field of study. You will be working with CCAM’s top researchers and the students and staff at your university and other member universities. You will also have the opportunity to work with representatives of our member companies. Take the time to get to know the people you run into at CCAM – they could be your future employers!
Please note that CCAM’s dress code is business casual. Please do not wear jeans or shorts. Any exceptions to this must be cleared in advance with management.
CCAM is a public-private partnership that has gained both national and international recognition. The first center of its kind in the US, CCAM gets hundreds of visitors a month. As an intern, you may be called upon to answer questions about your experience or projects you are working on and also support tours of the facility. You will be expected to act professionally at all times.
Your first day checklist appears below along with housing resources. If you have any questions, please contact Alicia Durham at alicia.durham@ccam-va.com or 804-722-3702.
