Prince George County, VA, November 26, 2019, Buehler, a leader in precision materials preparation and analysis laboratory equipment, has upgraded its support of advanced manufacturing research at the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM). With the addition of its latest equipment, CCAM has been named a Buehler Partner Center, one of several across the United States. Other Buehler Partner Centers include ASM International, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Wright State University, Boston University and Lehigh University.

Buehler was an early member of CCAM, and on this occasion has renewed its membership for another five years. In the past 12 months, the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM) has added Cummins, Amsted Rail, HURCO, and Altria Group to its growing number of advanced manufacturing consortium members. This partnership makes available Buehler’s comprehensive line of material preparation and analysis equipment to the research conducted by all 36 CCAM members that come from industry, academia, and government
