CCAM welcomed newest member of the Additive Manufacturing Team, Cameron Gygi, on September 11, 2017. Mr. Gygi joins the team as an Additive Manufacturing Engineer, with a focus on laser powder bed additive manufacturing processes. His past research focused on friction stir welding and additive manufacturing techniques for corrosion crack healing in nuclear reactors. Mr. Gygi received his M.S. in Manufacturing Systems and his B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University. He lived in Thailand and South Korea for 11 years and developed a taste for Thai and Asian cuisine. He also enjoys hiking and camping with his wife of 5 years and their two children.
