The Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM) is seeking multiple undergraduate and graduate student interns to perform and participate in the research programs of their world-class applied research facility.
CCAM’s focus is in the accelerated development of production ready solutions in the fields of adaptive automation systems, surface engineering, additive manufacturing, and machining technologies.
CCAM is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2017 term. Interns may focus in one or more of the following research disciplines:
- Computer Vision & Visualization
- Manufacturing
- Instrumentation & Controls
- Materials

The Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM) is an applied research center that provides production-ready advanced manufacturing solutions to member companies across the globe. Members guide the research, leveraging talent and resources within CCAM and at Virginia’s top universities, through a collaborative model that enables them to pool R&D efforts to increase efficiencies. Results can then be applied directly to the factory floor, turning ideas into profit faster and more affordably than ever before. CCAM is located in a state-of-the-art research facility in Prince George County, Virginia.
